• There is nothing positive about this diner.

“The Ridgefield Park Diner has gone way downhill. The carpets looked like they hadn't been shampooed in ages and there was bits of food on the floor. Ceiling tiles showed signs of roof leaks and I am not sure, but I think there was mold or mildew in the ceiling tiles. Ketchup was spilled on the wall and not cleaned up. I ordered a Cheeseburger Deluxe. The burger was greasy and the fries were overdone. The soda was flat and they gave you a very small plastic glass. I was afraid to even try the mystery slaw.”

• GREAT food, reasonable prices, good menu choices.
• Street parking , sometimes a wait for a table...

“This was a favorite of ours over 10 years ago , to the point of almost weekly visits and due to a move to more northern NJ, we eventually stopped going. Friends recently treated us to "their" favorite place and surprise! It was LUKA's! The food was as fabulous as ever. The same homey atmosphere. Unpretentious menu, just fabulous! The only difference was that years ago, service was more personable. Waiters seemed to just "go thru the motions" but it didn't affect a great dining experience. We love Luka's and are happy to rediscover it!”

• There is a wait for Saturday night seating.

“It has served great food for years. The owner-chef is Yugoslav well versed in Italian fare. Ask for Jorge, the Maitre d., he's most hospitable. Atmosphere is small tables, elegant, with fast service. Bring your own wine and beer.”
