• Down-to-earth, drunk-friendly.
• Food is lacking.

“f you're looking for a place to get a good drink, you may have found it, if the better bartenders are pouring. If you're looking for a good meal, you may not leave satisfied. But, you can always just order up another pint and forget about that cup of salt they poured in your shepherd's pie!”

• Food quality.
• Too noisy inside, between the music and shouts of other people.

“On my first visit to Downtown Cafe this past weekend, I was struck by how loud it was inside as soon as I walked in. Its a fun atmosphere with friends though (if you don't mind yelling to each other), and the Sushi we ordered was very good. Our waitress was good, but was very busy with many tables, so we had trouble catching her attention a few times.”

“Excellent service and food, I am a frequent diner and enjoy that the owner recognizes your patronage even if its only every couple of months. Server was passionate about the specials, recommendations, attentive, excellent evening.”
