- The atmosphere was cute and pleasant.
- The food was very disappointing.
“The food was not good. Very disappointing Mexican food. Limited menu and tastes like it is out of a can or very processed. Also, not cheap for the low quality of the food. Beverage was even small and over priced. Also, when you first walk into the corridor/entrance of this restaurant, there is an odor which resembles cat urine. We should have turned around and left. My husband and I thought it was a waste of money. We could have had better food at Taco Bell. I have had better tortilla chips out of a bag from the grocery store, the refried beans were not even as good as out of a can. Also, there were not chimichangas or anything deep fried on the menu.”

- Nothing.
- Worst service ever.
“This is the worst restaurant I have ever been too. The food is mediocre, but the have very good peeking duck. On one visit, I ordered the peeking duck and proceeded to wait 45 min without a refill to my water, or any other food, only to find out that they were completely out of duck. The next time I went, they brought out the hot and sour soup and it was very cold, so I asked them to reheat it, as they were bringing it out of the back I personally witnessed one of the waiters spitting in my soup. Then I decided I was never going to the restaurant again, but I could have them deliver the duck to my home. I live 4 miles away from the restaurant and saw that their menu advertised that it was an extra $2 if it was more than 3 miles away. So I called and put in my delivery only to have them tell me that they don't deliver and that I was stupid and then they hung up. Every experience with them has been worse than the last, avoid this place at all costs.”

- Food quality, pitchers of seltzer water.
- Service sometimes spotty, lunch buffet just OK.
“Housed in an old HoJos, with its intentionally humorous name, Look See shouldn't be underestimated. Some of the best Chinese food in Bergen County, delivered by a seasoned wait staff, awaits. The atmosphere, depending upon where you sit, varies from romantically intimate to bright and airy. The food choices are typical of Chinese restaurants in New Jersey, prepared with a lot of thought and care. Traditional cooking is the norm, NO MSG is ever used, and the chefs cook like they were cooking for family - tasty and healthy. Presentation is also good, with food looking appetizing when it arrives. Taste, of course, is the whole point, and here Look See excels. Service is OK. Nothing to rave about, but nothing to really complain about, either. One nice touch is the pitcher of sparkling water (like seltzer) put on each table - we rarely buy sodas, because the sparking stuffs pretty good. Look See has no liquor license, so bring your own or enjoy the water. For the kiddies, waiters are happy to set up a pair of chopsticks for them, and for grownups, they deliver real chopsticks, not those mass-produced wooden ones you so typically fine elsewhere. Again, just like for family. The restaurant is mostly dark, with a halogen spotlight beaming onto the center of each table. You can see the food, but you have some privacy, even with tables packed in closely. Near the windows, though, it's bright and airy, particularly in the room off to the right of the entrance. Plenty of parking, easy access from Route 17, kid-friendly, good prices, great food.”
