• Service, food, drinks and atmosphere.
• Not much to complain about, everyone seems to have a good time at the restaurant.

“Susan and I have been eating at the Meson Madrid since 1980 the food has always been excellent. Portion sizes has gotten smaller over the years but the food remains consistently good. The service has always been good and the management takes care of its customers. I would recommend the Meson Madrid for parties and for family gatherings. We have celebrated many family functions at the restaurant.”

“The place was almost empty, yet it still took one of the two waiters working there about 15 minutes to get to us. When we got our deserts (only had coffee and deserts), my friend's cheesecake had pieces of mold inside it. We were expecting at least to get everything comped because it wasn't that many items. My friend wanted to try to get a few drinks out of it but we decided it wasn't worth it. When we told the waiter he tried to make a joke insinuating that my friend tried to eat as much of the cheesecake as he could before noticing the mold. After a little talking he said he would take care of the check. He came back with a check with only the cheesecake taken off the price. We asked to speak to the manager, he said only the owner was in and walked into the kitchen. So we called the other waiter (waitress actually) and told her to get the owner. The owner came over and he said he couldn't do anything, that there was nothing wrong with the coffee or the other pie that I had half eaten. After a little arguing, he said that we had to pay and walked away. I'm never going there again and hope that anyone who reads this won't either.”
