• Food fantastic! The owner and his family make you feel at home, well, because you are.
• Can't think of a one.

“May 8. 2009! The ocean gate house has been taken over by a wonderful Italian family, with an already well established sister restaurant the food is homemade, excellent, and I promise you won't leave hungry, excellent prices. Owner always overseeing staff, mostly his own family. They are friendly, fun to be around and make you feel right at home. Live music some nights. Owner toying with idea of dance music Saturday nights in the bar area (separate from the dining area). Hope he goes for it. It would be nice for the adults and parents in town to have somewhere close to home to get together with friends. Eat great food, talk, get down and boogie, and at the end of the evening, just a short, quiet stroll home.”

• Fuss free dining.
• Fish not fresh.

“My parents have been coming here for years and although its not a fancy restaurant, the food was always good. We visited here on 2/24/08 with my parents for a fish dinner and it was awful. The fish, except for the shrimp, was old and very disappointing. I had a broiled seafood platter and I could tell as soon as it was in front of me, it was not fresh. We were taking my Dad who is in his 70's out to dinner and didnt want to cause disrupt, so we just pretended we were full, paid the bill and left. On my platter was broiled flounder-it tasted old and dry. The scallops were old and not tasty, and the stuffed crab and clam was just mediocre, no real fresh taste. Heads up--when you are serving fish, it must be caught and quickly served fresh. We were very disappointed. We would not go back again, its a shame.”

• Love the food, casual dining and good prices plus pizza is awesome.
• Needs a little updating.

“I love this place. Great food, service and drinks. Takes cash only, but there is an ATM in the place for convenience. Must have steak Delmonico; you'll be glad you ordered it.”

• Very best food within 10 miles.
• It would be nice if the bar area was a little busier.

“Food is fabulous. Nicole is a great waitress. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Close to a little boardwalk on the water to take a little stroll after dinner. Loved it.”
