• Get the BBQ Lima Beans (apparently summer months only).
• The waitress wouldn't give me the BBQ Lima Bean recipe.

“On an afternoon drive, not even knowing what locale I was driving through, I began to feel hunger pangs and started watching for what I hoped would be some good PA country food. The name of the restaurant scared me at first because I've dined at several places that labeled themselves as home cooking' without of earning the reputation. But the parking lot was crammed full and this was the only restaurant I'd seen for miles that had any cars at all. Inside, I began worrying when I noticed that my forty something age made me the probably the youngest customer among the fifty or so diners. I tend to favor joints that draw a different clientele than this, but braved the menu anyhow. Figuring I was in dangerous territory, I told the waitress I'd take whatever she recommended - so long as it was not a veggie dish - and she delivered maple glazed roasted pork loin, with mashed potatoes and bbq lima beans. The potatoes and gravy was not much different that what my wife would cook (which is a good thing, trust me), but the maple glazed pork loin was incredible, and the lima beans were like nothing I've ever eaten - completely out of this world. I almost ordered a second helping when the lady sitting next to me suggested I try the shoofly pie. Fortunately, I took her advice. I left the place more satisfied than the day old blue bit my mother 'n law, and I swear it's the truth.”
