- The best thing that I ate was the bread.
- Binion's was a bad dining experience.
“Recently my family and our friends had the unpleasant experience of sharing a meal at Binion's. We were visiting the Hendersonville area and decided to eat at Binion's because we thought it would be a good place to eat before heading back home. We were wrong! The best thing that I ate was the bread. I ordered the BBQ which tasted like it had been freshly defrosted from some bucket that came from Ingles or Wal-Mart. My baked potato was as dry as a baked potato could get. My wife's chicken also looked and tasted like it was a frozen chicken with BBQ sauce smeared on it. If we pay $10-$12 for a plate of food, I expect it to be good - not something I could go to the grocery store and buy and then heat up for myself (for a cheaper price). Then we were charged almost 6.00 for gratuity because there were 5 people on my ticket, three being small children, who did not all even order a plate. I had to say that my experience at Binion's was the worst dinning experience I have ever had. If I would not have been with our friends we would have got up and probably left the restaurant with the food sitting on the table. Also, the waitress got the order wrong and we had to wait on a kids hamburger after the rest of the food was brought to the table and we had to constantly ask for refills, etc. Maybe she knew that since we did have a big party that she was already going to get her tip, and maybe she didn't feel the need to work for it. Anyway, the service was not good. By the way, you need to change the sign out front because the only thing famous about Binion's was a bad dining experience.”

- Staff is friendly and helpful.
- The menu may be overwhelming.
“Lovely place to visit. Food is good, try the spinach cheese dip. Getting one of the few tables looking out on a small Nature garden with a waterfall is worth the wait. Owner also operates two other restaurants in town.”

- The Bruschetta Burger, itself, was pretty good.
- The garlic fries were almost inedible. Bathed in oil.
“Probably no different than any other in the Applebee's chain. Not worth visiting unless you like mediocre food. Typical of most chain restaurants. In fact, we had stopped going to all Applebee's years ago as the chain grew in number and the quality dropped off. However, we thought we would give it a try after seeing the new TV promotions using Tyler Florence as the new menu adviser/creator. We tried the new Bruschetta Burger with garlic fries and the Herb Crusted Chicken. The burger, itself, was pretty good, but the fries were soaked in oil and virtually inedible. The salad that came with the chicken was better than average, but the chicken simply tasted like plain, breaded chicken. And it the meat was dry. And we suffered "digestive problems" about an hour after the meal. Too many good, independent restaurants in Hendersonville to waste your time here. ”
