- Very gracious portions with food.
- No gloves.
“Although the place might not be the best up-kept deli, it serves some great food. The people don't wear gloves when pulling your bagels/bread but if you can get past that the food is pretty good for a quick lunch stop. Another downside is that they don't take credit cards, only cash to which they provide an ATM machine in store. Definitely served the largest and best tasting Turkey Club Sandwich I have had in years. I would recommend to people looking for an affordable, quick, tasty lunch.”

- The brie salad was good.
- Everything else. Not clean, amenities listed are not truthful, building is not taken care of.
“I recently treated a friend to a dinner at the newly re-opened County Seat in Newton, NJ. The prices were very high for the food quality. Our server was condescending and rude. The brie salad was excellent, but it was the only thing I can say that was positive about the experience. When ordering burgers, we asked to substitute onion rings for french fries, and were told it was not an option. The burgers were both overdone. I called County Seat and spoke to the acting manager. He repeatedly interrupted me and seemed totally disinterested in the complaints. I told him in today's economy customer service should be of primary concern. He hung up on me! I called back to confirm that he had indeed hung up and he said yes because he did not like what I had to say about the restaurant.”

- The fact that I will never go there again.
“A guy was walking around and picking off the toppings of the bagels and eating it, that bagel could be yours. The health dept should be in there. They don't wear gloves. Nasty. I actually saw this guy stick two fingers up in nose, one on each side and proceeded to pick bagels out of the bin with the same hand for some poor guy.”

- General Tsos.
- About 10% higher prices.
“Being new to Newton, I had to check out the place with all the gilding. My favorite Chinese-restaurant staple is General Tsos chicken, and they make it phenomenally. Not tough, yet with a light crispy exterior, a distinct heat in the sauce, yet not oppressive. I love it. The ambient mood is very otherworldly, and they have a lot of very well done decor.”
