Pub 199
Sep 4, 2007 by GINA from BASKING RIDGE
Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1
Food:[1] • Service:[1] • Atmosphere:[1]

  • Nothing.
  • Nasty service.

“Service was poor. Long time waiting for service. After purchasing one beverage and finishing I asked for a glass of tap water was told by the manager that only bottled water was available. Manager said nothing is free here. Scarce toilet paper in the bathroom. No paper towels. Bathroom not clean. When I complained I was told by the manager we can't keep up with all our customers on a busy night - I don't want to talk to you.”

Pub 199
Jul 20, 2007 by Kel from Mt Arlington
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7
Food:[8] • Service:[7] • Atmosphere:[3]

  • Great seafood.
  • Dead animal decor everywhere.

“The seafood is the main attraction that bring people in. However, the whole restaurant does smell like seafood at all times. If you are an animal lover, you may want to avoid this restaurant. If anyone has seen Pet Detective "when Nature calls" ....it is a lovely room of death. I think f that scene every time I go. Stuffed animals everywhere, and every year there are more to see. Again, the seafood is great price and you get a good portion. It is a giant room and it reminds me of a mess hall. I took my mother in law and she hated every bit of it, except the Crab legs she ordered. You have to be ready for this particular atmosphere. It is very popular and you will have to wait between 5:30 - 8 on any given day.”
