“Changing the name to Jordan's - House of Sushi might be a good idea considering the uncooked state of the fried shrimp we got. The servers were friendly and fairly quick to start, even though we never saw them again, nor had a glass refilled or asked if everything was OK. The seating, crowded. When my son ordered steak and shrimp and the server said "I never saw anyone order that before" it should have been a hint to just say no to dinner in that place. He said the steak was bad and the shrimp undercooked. He did like the baked potato. I had undercooked shrimp and flounder. The fish wasn't undercooked but neither was it very good. I will give them credit for decent hush puppies. Honestly that's as good a review as I can give these folks. If you're looking for good food, go some place else. By the way, a couple of nights later we went to Rucker John's located behind the mall in the 8700 block. Wonderful service (my ice tea glass was replaced with fresh before I was finished with the first), servers helpful but not intrusive, and the food. Great. I highly recommend Rucker John's over Jordan's House of Sushi.”

- Their menu needs to be changed and improved after so long, boring!
“As a resident of CC, I would rate RJ's as a 2 for dining out at any time of the year! The best that they have going on is location and long time diners that actually think that their food is decent after several drinks!”

“Everything was frozen and deep fat fried in very old oil. Everything tasted the same, Cole Slaw had no flavor. waitress forgot about us, food served was cold, it was reheated, but still was bad, no crab in the crab cakes, just cake.”

- The food, service and bar drinks.
- Don't base the food on the atmosphere and decor.
“It was hard to find anything around Emerald Isle. When we pulled up I was surprised at how small and plain the building was. If I hadn't been looking for it I would have driven right past! But based on the great ratings we went in and we were rewarded with awesome specialty bar drinks, great food and some of the best service we've ever had and the owner/chef came out to greet us and talk with us. The crab and shrimp and shrimp and grits were our favorite main courses. The peach cobbler was delicious. In our week stay, we only went out to eat twice and both times we went to Fairway. The decor is hardly upscale or even slightly fancy, but you won't be disappointed with what you came for awesome food.”

- Clam chowder, location - off the main strip.
- Recipes (cook?), small combo plates, slow kitchen.
“Tried it twice. Disappointed each time. The clam chowder is something I would go back for, but that's all I've found that I liked. Terrible crab dip - must have been back fin crab with way too much mayo, old bay seasoning and green pepper. Crab cakes don't taste much different, just no mayo. The presentation is nice and they seem very accommodating. Nice servers, efficient. Slow kitchen both times. We eat at a lot of places at the coast and compared to others the combination platters are very small portions. Not a bad price but you could leave hungry unless you fill up on bread or something else. Skip the salad. Small mound of greens, a few shaved carrots and a couple of red onion slices. Pretty sad.”
