Rockin Comet Diner

Overall Rating: 6
Food:[5] •
Service:[9] •
Atmosphere:[10]
- Milkshakes.
- Served food cold that was meant to be hot.
“While I have heard good things about Rockin Comet Diner, my family's visit was an adventure. The food was average to below average. The chicken dinner with rice was served cold. The bread with the patty melt was burnt on one-side, they put the chili on the hamburger, not the fries as requested. On a weekend, they were out of their famous all beef hot dogs. And my favorite, the fried green tomatoes, were the worst I have eaten. However, the milkshakes were great.”

Jones Cafe

Overall Rating: 10

“Jones cafe is one of those places the locals go for fellowship and good food. You won't find linen tablecloths or a wine menu. What you will find is good home cooking with a friendly staff and a decor that could have come straight from Mayberry.”

Clayton Coffee Mill

Atmosphere:[10]
- The culture.
- The lack pf support.
“I enjoy having a coffee spot to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and avoiding the starbucks approach and remaining local, no matter what. I like the atmosphere it has very strong artistic value that I do like and enjoy. Seems to be a good place for artist to congregate being the three galleries that surround the place. Very nostalgic similar Jones lunch.”

Panchos Mexican Restaurant
Mar 10, 2007 by

from Clayton
Overall Rating: 9
Food:[9] •
Service:[9] •
Atmosphere:[2]
- Unique flavors, friendly staff, affordable.
- Could use some atmosphere/decor. The music is horrible Mexican heavy metal sometimes.
“I've lived in Clayton for about 2 years and have tried 5 different Mexican restaurants in the area. In my opinion, poncho¿s has the best authentic Mexican food in the triangle. Very casual atmosphere and friendly waiters. Check out their chimichangas! If you want a stiff margarita however, then you're going to have to go down the street to la cocaine.”
