• Great local restaurant that is consistently good.
• Sometimes the roast pork is a little dry.

“A friend at work who grew up in Yonkers and knows all the quality ethnic cuisine restaurants took me to Panchito's to have lunch five years ago and I and other friends and co-workers have been going ever since. The food tastes like somebody's mama is back in the kitchen spooning out the love for the customers. From the I can't stop eating this sliced, buttered and grilled Cuban bread, to the various traditional Latin dishes, (at a very reasonable price) you will rarely have room for the wonderful flan for dessert. The red beans in sauce and yellow Spanish rice and standards that you must try. Watch out for the ultra-thick and delicious fruit shakes, especially the mango. Wow! Enjoy!”

“The owner & the manager make you feel like you are part of their family! My family has eaten at La Lanterna several times, and the food has always been outstanding along with the service. The atmosphere on the inside is cozy & romantic, but what I love the most is eating outside on the patio. On a chilly night the owner makes sure that you are warm & toasty by setting up these amazing heaters by your table. There is also a fire pit located in the center of the patio which is perfectly maintained by the manager, (with the help of fire logs of course). If it is your anniversary or a special occasion, make sure that you order champagne or a bottle of your favorite wine. Some of our favorite things to eat are: Fried Calamari, (the sauce served on the side is delicious), & also tastes great over pasta without sauce. The assorted cheese platter is really good. The Parpadella with chicken or shrimp is a dish that you do not want to miss, and if you add the calamari sauce to this dish it gets even better. Yummy! The Chicken Scarpiello & Chicken Marsala are also great dishes. The drinks from the bar are great & so are the desserts. There is always great music being played whether you dine indoors or outdoors. Sometimes there are singers, & DJ's. I have also seen a magician perform on several occasions. They also host Halloween, New Years Eve events, & more. We always have a great time at La Lanterna! Don't just take my word for it. Please go & see for yourself. You will definitely add La Lanterna as one of your favorite places to dine.”

“The service and friendly atmosphere was amazing. The food was very good and served hot. The drinks were very good. The best thing about Rory Dolan's is the friendly atmosphere and the beautiful woodwork and cleanliness of the restaurant. A great Irish pub!”

“I normally don't write reviews, but after reading the negative review here I had to interject. I've been going to Pizza Beat for many years and have never encountered a problem. You do not have to be Italian or Caucasian to be treated nicely! Everyone is treated well. The food is always great no matter what you order, and so are the staff. I would highly recommend Pizza Beat to all.”

• The Spanish food is the best in Yonkers.
• Parking is at times difficult to find.

“I've been to this restaurant many times. I love it! Food & services are great. I haven't been there in a while, but last time I was there they had a Spanish singer singing as you ate. I found it to be very romantic. The parking isn't the greatest. You may have to walk at least 2 blocks, but well worth it. It gets jam packed so best to get there early on the weekends. They never rush to get you out of there.”
