Atmosphere:[7]
- The food is excellent, a light touch with much subtle Asian flavors.
- The ambiance is not as lovely as the original location, but still is nice and cozy in a wonderful place in town.
“The head chef and owner of Wok and Roll had been with the original Little Bear in Bearsville, just on the other side of Woodstock years ago. He still has his magic touch and the dishes, particularly those with his special signature are truly excellent. He has a light touch and each plate is full of flavor, and so very nicely presented. Having not been back to Woodstock for years, it is wonderful that this lovely Chinese treasure is still in town! Looking forward to a repeat visit soon.”

- Great atmosphere/decor/location.
- Food was bland. Manager.
“Me and a friend went in to eat and we were seated immediately. However, the owner served us and he was extremely rude and annoying. I ordered chicken with all different kinds of ingredients and I noticed there were mushrooms in everything. I asked for them to take the mushrooms out, and he immediately told me no. That the mushrooms had a specific purpose. I eventually was able to get it without mushrooms. I got text messages while I was at the table, but I didn't want to disturb the other diners so I placed the phone under the table to read them and message them back. My friend gives me this look. I noticed the manager was behind me. When he finally walked away my friend told me he was reading my text messages over my shoulder. To test it, I put my phone on the table. I got another text while he was standing behind me. I picked up the phone and turned it and he moved with the phone to read it! The whole experience was weird and creepy. I felt like I was eating with a stalker. I would not recommend going there.”

- Food authentic. Staff excellent. Always full after eating.
- Plan on having dessert someplace else - not a large selection.
“We liked the food, the people and the atmosphere so much; we got married at the gypsy wolf cantina! My mom's first reaction when she drove up was, "what sort of place is this?!" But once inside a true cantina feel surrounds you. Lots of art and masks. You never know who you will be seated near. Twice we've been there when pop stars, recording in nearby bears Ville, dropped in. They only serve dinner. Come early with children. Food and drink servings large.”
