“Never go to this place to eat or see a live show. The food was horrible and overpriced. The staff was unbearably rude, including the owner and the manager.”

• Basic fare and convenient to shopping.
• Service.

“I was not present for the coupon debacle, though I will say that if the owner said it was not on the coupon what would it have cost them fifty cents? Food is not the only priority, customer service is of utmost importance. There is nothing special about this small establishment, they should have done better. I too find it not worth my time or $.”

• Great food and service.
• When it's busy, their home cooked food takes a few minutes longer.

“Neither the waitress nor the owner was rude in the least. The waitress tried to explain to the customer that his coupon was not, in fact, valid for "eat in" food but could be used for "To Go" items. The customer who seemed to me to be the rude one was not happy with that answer and said he wanted to see the owner, who came right out. He also and gently I might add, explained that the coupon was for "To Go" food only and admitted that he had made a mistake in not making that perfectly clear in writing on the coupon itself. I heard him apologize several times to the customer and his wife. When asked by the owner if there was anything at all he could do for him, the customer who by this time was highly agitated said "No!" and stormed out. I was not a regular at this popular eatery prior to this event but I am now. The food is great and I find the waitresses to always be friendly and the atmosphere warm and comfortable. A definite local gem!”

• Rude to elderly couple in front of whole dining room.

“I will never eat here again. An elderly couple came in one afternoon when I was dining with my husband. They had a coupon which the waitress refused to honor - she was very rude to them and said it was for take -out only (which was not written on the coupon) - then the owner / chef came out and was so rude to the poor couple - who were just mortified. He told them he didn't need their business and threw them out. It was awful to witness. My spouse and I left money on the table and left without eating. My sister and her family used to go there regularly and will now never return. I hope no one ever goes there again - they are horrible people. Too bad, because the food was good.”
