• I can't eat more.

“Go there. It is a glimpse of what the old Italian neighborhood of Utica used to be. It is a place for good Italian gravy red sauce, macaroni pasta, a Utica Club beer. If those things mean something to you, then go. If not, go and find out! If you are Italian, you owe it to your stomach. The patrons and the staffs are the nicest people you'll ever meet.”

• Time goes by to fast.

“Dave's is a fun place to go. The ice-cream is worth every penny. On Tuesday nights if not raining he has hot rods and collector cars. On Wednesday it is all about the motor cycles. It is fun for all ages and friendly place for friends to meet after a hard day at work. He also has music and bbq out side for fast food. Come on by and enjoy Dave's diner. you won't be sorry you did.”

“Used to love this place. Under new management recently. Went there tonight for dinner and the food was beyond horrible. Four people and everybody's meal were inedible. Inedible meaning we all took one bite and realized there was something wrong. We were disappointed.”

“Incredibly overpriced, lackadaisical service, mediocre, bordering on awful food. A poor excuse for a restaurant with an awful, near diner milieu living on a not well-deserved reputation. (Then again Utican's palates are far from educated so they must think the place is great.) Risotto was a tasteless, clumpy and tepid. The stuffing was merely a very thin layer of some type of crab. Even cannoli was only half-filled; paste just put into each end leaving the middle empty. It wasn't just mine. My fellow diner's was identical. Neighboring diner sent pasta dish back twice and only got partly through the second serving. They also complained about the temperature and lack of taste. For that money, anywhere, the food must be perfection and worthy.”

“Food is amazing each and every time. Presentation is nothing like I have seen in the Utica area. Service is always with a smile. Portion sizes fit any appetite.”
