- Excellent sauces, the veal chop is among the best I've had.
- A little more variety on the daily specials.
“If you are looking for a good meal at a fair price then go directly to this restaurant. Not only is the food good but the staff of waiters will do everything possible to make you feel at home. The wine list has improved under. I would recommend.”

- Great bang for the buck.
- Not as large as some other places.
“A great local bar/restaurant with surprisingly good food at reasonable prices. A colorful group of regulars help everybody to feel welcome. You never know who you will see there. People also love to come in and play shuffle board.”

“Almost everyone in Port Chester knows about Sam's. It's right on the border of Port Chester, NY and Greenwich, CT. The bar itself is OK, but it's most famous for getting packed at appx 2:10am on the weekends because all the bars in CT close exactly at 2:00am. All in all, a good place to go and knock a few down.”

- Good atmosphere
- A tad loud when the restaurant's in full swing
“If you love meat, and you're in the mood for a good all-you-can-eat meal, then this is a very good choice for a restaurant. They have the roddissio setup, where the staff brings out different types of meats in skewers and keeps feeding you till you say when! One suggestion: make sure you're starving when you get there, otherwise you will kick yourself for not being able to sample everything.
The restaurant's undergone a management change within the last year, and the atmosphere's definitely improved. The old place was a little dingy, but the place is now quite lively. On the weekends, they have a live band playing in the corner of the main seating area.
Not bad for a romantic dinner - you have to get real close to each other to talk when the restaurant's packed.”
