- Ambiance, pasta.
“Well, I really don't know what dining in GF, MT is all about. This was my first night in town. Let's just say that, If this one of the best GF has to offer, it's going to be a long week! Ravioli was mediocre. Spaghetti was worse. My advice would be to go with the steak. Probably the sirloin was one of the best at our table. I'm not sure what the bread sticks were like years ago, but what came to our table was a poor exclusive!”

- Quality and variety of menu items.
- Restaurant side is noisy and privacy is not easy to find. Come to think of it, this can be a positive.
“Borries is a standout in the declining number of classic Montana dinner clubs. These are the places that are family owned, often multigenerational, and where you will remember the food and setting for a long time. When the menu at Borries says that many of the items are homemade - believe them! The breadsticks, salad dressings, minestrone soup and ravioli are long time favorites for a reason - they are fresh and taste great. I heartily agree with another reviewer who raved about the filets. The fork tender hunks of Montana beef are cooked to perfection and will have you looking forward to ordering them again even before you leave from your current visit. Although family friendly, those without children should opt to eat in the bar side of the operation. You will be surrounded by a range of Western art as well as some classic regular patrons at the bar. Although Great Falls may not be at the top of your list of places to visit, Borries should be.”

- Top 5 best filets I've ever had. Number 1 for the money.
- 70's style decor. I couldnt care less. I don't want art food.
“Was there in 2003 on our way for a week in Glacier Nat'l Park. Basically a Supper Club like you'd see in Wisconsin or Minnesota. We both had the filet mignon as that's what the guidebook recommended was the best item on the menu. My mother ordered a Queen size & I ordered the King. My King was actually 2 Queens! Fork tender. My mother said the breadsticks were to die for! I've never found breadsticks something to rave about but she asked our waitress she would like to buy 20 to go & they gave them to her for free. Yu would not be out of place wearing jeans & a flannel shirt. She sends me emails every 6 months or so asking when we're going back. Not so much to Glacier, but to Borries! I live 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago & she still dreams about a filet & breadsticks at Borries. Enough said. I've been to 60+ destinations in the last 20 years & did extensive research prior to. All the at'l Parks, Mexico, Hawaii & a dozen Caribbean Islands.”
