“Although I live in Washington, I have to say that Softies is the best ice cream place I have ever been to. My mother grew up in Montana and every time we go there it is a tradition to go to Softies. Without a trip to Softies, our vacation would be incomplete. I am excited to take a trip to Montana tomorrow and have no doubt that I will go to Softies, to me it is a place of fond family memories.”

“Whilst the restaurant gave the appearance of grandeur my friends and I found it to be rather pretentious. There were several attractive young ladies serving but they were obviously there to distract the diners from the lengthy waits between courses.”

• Awesome food, great service, beer and wine.
• Make reservations especially for larger groups.

“They focus on fresh seafood and aged beef. In all of the years they've been open. We have never had poor service or a bad meal. The owner greets us by name, the service staff doesn't turn over so the service is consistently excellent. They have meals for your basic meat and taters kind people as well as for those more adventuresome. They have vegetarian fare as well. ”
