La Salsa Cantena Mexican Fair

- Drink refill without asking.
- Cheap on Chips and Salsa. Poor follow through service when the food was delivered.
“La Salsa Cantina Mexican Fare. Fare Well! I've never eaten at a Mexican food restaurant that didn't provide complimentary Chips and Salsa until now. You actually have to ask for them and it is a charge item. Okay. Small stuff to some, but when my meal comes, I like to use Salsa. You'd think that a business with Salsa in the name might pride themselves on this condiment. That doesn't explain why I had to ask two different persons on two separate occasions for it and wait nearly 10 minutes to get it delivered. The meal Nachos (which was average in quality and less so in quantity for the price).”

“Guard your credit card with your life and definitely don't use your debit card. I was charged twice on the same day for each of the two transactions.”

Double Diamond Food & Spirit

- Drink and food prices, loose video poker, pool tables and dart boards, friendly bartenders and staff, smiling patrons.
- Kitchen closes after midnight.
“A heart felt shout out of thanks to bartenders and all the staff at Double Diamond Restaurant & Casino. My business trip to Las Vegas was made enjoyable and fun at this busy local bar were visitors are treated like locals and friends. Unlike most Vegas bars, I got more than expected for less than I expected. Great drinks at fair prices with pool tables, electronic darts, jukebox and video poker. Every night had some promotion going on. Pool/dart tournaments, TV give away drawings, and people smiling. They run some casino worker, casino low priced drink, specials and non-gambler special drink, and prices that seem to keep the bar full. The joint was rock-in every time I went in. Went three nights and found even late night after midnight on a weeknight full of mixed crowd of mostly locals. Food was good pizza, sandwiches, wings and such cheerful singles and couples patrons, and 50-cent pool where even and poor player like me felt welcome. Well done, Ill be back next trip.”

- Hostess and wait staff is really nice food is good too.
“My friend and I went to Vegas recently and we stopped in at chin chin (New York), got to say the hostess there was really sweet and helpful. But on the other hand the guy bartender could not be more rude if he tried.”

- Store is very clean and tidy.
“This store was operating during a recent renovation, so they didn't lose its shine. Committed patrons put up with inept personnel, long lines and inferior service. During the remodeling, the price of the bagels increased to $0.99/bagel! At the store today, I saw that the bagels are now one half of their original generous size. Both the size of the bagel and the price is truly obscene. As far as I'm concerned Einstein's bagels are too pricey for me and I won't be returning.”
