• My mouth is watering recalling my meal there.
• The stairs are a little step.

“I have eaten at King Fong's many times and always had the same waitress. She actually remembered what we had ordered the last time we were there. They have tables and also booths for privacy. The Chinese food is the very best in Omaha, that I have had and next time I am in Omaha, King Fong's is a definite stop.”

“One of the worst dining experiences of my life. Any of the rich history this establishment had was long gone. The food was sub par Mexican at best. No big deal. However, the service was what really sent this dinner into a nose dive. I will spare you the details of this utterly dehumanizing experience. Let's just say that no accommodation was too small to be ignored. Needless to say, I will not be going back. There are too many good Mexican restaurants in Omaha to waste your time and money at Howard's.”

• Good food, decent price and great variety of choices.
• Waitress.

“Waitress was a bit of a dip. We ordered specials, but she returned after a half hour and apologized that the menu was from last week and those specials had expired, so we quickly re-ordered. The appetizer came right away and was delicious, and water was offered frequently.”

“This pizza place if you can call it that, in a few short words is just awful. Everything tastes as though it came straight out of the box. The dough is very poor, the rest is just mediocre.”

Gorat's Steak House

• Interesting to see Warren Buffet's favorite restaurant.
• Food, service, decor is lacking.

“We had reservations and Gorat's made us wait over 2 hours, and the Gorat's staff never apologized! (This was for the Berkshire Hathaway shareholders dinner, we had reservation for 6PM and we were seated after 8PM). The food is comparable to the mediocre cafeteria food I ate in high school, but their prices are comparable to what you would pay in a nice restaurant. We ate lunch at Dave's Famous barbecue in downtown Omaha that day which was excellent (both in quality of food and service), we should have gone back there for dinner instead of Gorat's!”
