• The Cheese Steak here is unbelievable.
• Nothing negative about this place.

“The Steaks are great and my baseball buddies love this place. See I have a place in millionaires cove this is the best restaurant on the whole lake!”

• Has a fantastic hill-top location with a wonderful view.
• Poorest treatment ever received.

“While this beautiful restaurant is found in a perfect location, perched high atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, its here where we experienced the poorest treatment weve ever received in any restaurant! Over Valentines dinner, our two entrees, lobster and steak, were delivered to us cold, not warm. As soon as our waitress returned we registered a complaint. After 30 minutes she returned again and informed us Chef, would do nothing but offer us a round of drinks. All we wanted was warm food. After another 15 minute wait we were informed by our waitress and the hostess that they had no authority and when we asked to speak to the owner or someone who did we were never given the opportunity, they just let us sit there.”

• The food and the service.
• Drinks can always be cheaper in my mind.

“Bayou bill's rocks. When our server noticed that my dog was tied up in the boat and crying, they told me to bring him up. That was cool. We fed him some of our alligator tail bites as we ate. I definitely recommend the crawfish et-tu-fey, it was amazing. great fun, great food, good drinks. What more can you ask for at the lake?”

• The view of the lake was nice.
• Everything else was not.

“While we were waiting to get served, two other groups actually got up and left because of the lack of service, a husband, wife and child, and what looked to be a dating adult couple. We should have seen that as a bad omen. After we waited way too long for our food, my friend's wife's pasta came out crunchy, undercooked, and his and my steak came back overcooked, not how we ordered them, further and shockingly so they refused to do anything about it. The only taste left in my mouth after we left was bitter.”

• I really like how when you go to eat either at the restaurant part or the snack bar area they just treat you special!
• I wish they had more small children's specials.

“Great place to take your family, such as teenagers, small children or just any age is fine. There is something to eat and do for all ages at the Horney Toad. My kids and my husband and I love going there in the summer! We might even try winter! We love shopping at the boutique and especially when they have the popcorn machine going so you can munch on something while you wait for everyone to arrive for your meal or just to get together. Everyone that works there is very friendly and helpful during any of the concerts, the boat shows or just a regular day at the lake at Horney Toads. My family always takes me there for Mothers Day. I look forward to it. One particular Mothers Day it was rainy but we just put the top up in the boat and went to Horney Toad. We decided that we weren't dressed the best so we decided to let the kids play the arcade games, we listened to the band, yes there was one and they were under cover and they were awesome as usual and then we just ordered from the little snack area by the bar. It was really comfortable, nice and EVERYONE that was working on such a yucky day was overly friendly and talked to us like they had known as forever. It is something I look forward to every Mother's Day!”
