• This is a wonder establishment.
• Can't think of any.

“This restaurant is a bit of a drive for me, however, it is well worth the ride. Excellent food, great service, throw in some live music on the weekend, which adds up to a wonderful experience. Plus, it's quiet here, you can carry on a conversation in a normal tone of voice. Nowadays, how many restaurants can you fine like that? The veranda is my favorite place to sit, winter or summer. Maybe watching a light snow in the winter, or listening to song birds in the summer, always brings a moment of peace. The ambiance is Early America, right down to the costumes the ladies wear. Come causal, relax, and enjoy this brief moment in time. Yes, the Blue Owl is one of my favorites.”

• Good food, very reasonably priced.
• I think it gets very busy in the evenings, so you need to book ahead.

“I had just about the best fried chicken ever here. It's a lovely building - for the us it is really old, and full of history. There are plenty of exposed beams and the walls and doorframes are charmingly wonky! Our waitress told us that at one time, back in the late 1700 or early 1800 it used to house a brothel upstairs for the travelers who would pass by. The service was friendly and it made a great change from the formulaic, chain type restaurants that you get everywhere else.”

• The bakery products are nice .
• It isn't worth the hassle.

“The big hype about this restaurant is the over priced bakery that they have. It is most always crowded and the atmosphere is stuffy. ”
