• Food, atmosphere, fast & friendly service, not too pricey.
• I don't really have anything negative to say.

“I love Captain D's! It is my favorite seafood chain, and when they finally came to Bolivar, I think I may have danced a jig! Their food is great, and the servers are always friendly. They'll even stop by your table to ask if you need anything. How many fast food places do that? I like how they decorated the place and I enjoy looking at the old sea pictures while I eat. I would always recommend this place!”

• Love their chicken tortilla soup, its cheese and a little spicy yum.
• The wait staff both visits have been a little scatterbrained, nice but forgetful.

“I went for lunch with my husband and I wouldnt call it romantic, however, had we gone in the evening, I feel it would have been semi romantic. The food was wonderful, especially the chicken tortilla soup! I cant say enough about the soup; it is the reason every time Im near Bolivar, I think, am I hungry enough to stop at Kathys? I went in a second time with my mom and 2 kids and they enjoyed a small pizza and we had the soup and salads. This was later in the evening and the atmosphere was subdued and quiet, the lighting was dimmed and could have been romantic with my husband. Anyway, love the place and I would recommend it to anyone.”

• Close for a seafood place .
• Food taste like it is cooked in old oil.

“I was so excited to have a seafood place come to Bolivar the first couple of times right after it opened the food was really good. but now it sometimes has a taste like it has been cooked in old oil like the fryers need to be cleaned more often. As I used to work in a fresh seafood market years ago I do know what I'm talking about. ”

• Loved the food, and the people.
• Didn't really like the way it was set up, kind of not so privet.

“This place was very nice, I didn't answer the romantic question because that's a persons chose of whets romantic and what's not. The people were very friendly. :)”
