- The atmosphere, the service.
- Lack of menu posted on website.
“I was visiting friends who moved to the Ozarks and since I don't like eating a chain restaurants, we thought this would be a good place to try. The food was good - a little higher priced than I like, but the portions were excellent! The home made bread is to die for! One suggestion I have is a menu on the website. So many people, myself included, have dietary restrictions, and also, if there's a group of people, it can all least give you an idea of what you serve before you get to the restaurant. All in all, a great place to eat!”

- Food and beverage. Atmosphere is unique; you need to experience it yourself. It's an old bank building with old furnishings.
- This is the only one in the country, you do have to wait to be seated sometimes (if your by yourself, get a seat at the bar and eat there).
“I travel the country far and wide. This restaurant is worth going out of the way to eat there. The prime rib is superb, the homemade bread is excellent, and their soup is divine. They make really good beer there too! I wish someone would open a restaurant just like this one where I live. If you travel anywhere near Joplin, Branson Or Springfield, look this place up. You won't be disappointed. Unfortunately Im sitting here 376 miles away, and Id be there now if I could. Out of all of the places that I eat, and Im always trying something new, I have two favorite places to go to, and this is one of them.”

- The home made free bread at the table!
- Prices a little high at dinner time but lunch is great prices.
“The food is great. Really nice friendly service. They make home made little loafs of bread, that is the best ever! Lunch prices are great.”
