- Inviting family atmosphere and food was great.
- Seating arrangements last time were a little tight but we had a huge group.
“Can't understand why this place would have a single negative review. My entire family has been eating Mama Mia food for over 15 years. Everything is great, their sauces and Italian dressing is to die for. If you want a delicious home cooked meal with some of the cheapest prices in town, eat there.”

- Interesting to see the Humvee they build.
- This is not a restaurant.
“AM General is a manufacturer of military vehicle systems. I was not able to get any food from their cafeteria, but it smelled good. Note: you must have an escort to get into the cafeteria.”

- Amazing bread sticks and good food.
- A bit priecy but good every now and then.
“My family has made a tradition of going to Mama Mia for Thanks giving dinner. You get a whole turkey, bread, salad, corn, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and your choice of pumpkin pie. The bread sticks are some of the best I've had when they are done right. They are occasionally overcooked but that doesn't happen often. We also had a banquet there for an 80th birthday party. About 70 people ended up attending. The service was okay for that, It could have been far better though. I wish they had more food choices for the banquet and I wish it was all you can eat like the turkey dinner. Overall, a good place for a nice expensive dinner, especially on a special occasion.”

- The salad was edible.
- Way over priced. Horrible and unprofessional staff.
“We had a graduation party at the Livonia Mama Mias, on a Wednesday night with 60 guests. Fountain pop is very inexpensive, costing just pennies. The food wasn't that great. It was served buffet style, but not at the time they said it would be served. We asked for roasted chicken and they served baked chicken, the bread was hard, they ran out of gravy and they didn't seem to have enough food. I felt as if the food was recycled from a previous banquet party. It even slightly smelled like fish and we did not have fish that night. One server told the mother the grad that she would get a new batch of gravy made, but that never happened and the mother, who paid for the entire event, ate her food without gravy. The staff took the cakes in the back to cut them and add ice cream. It took forever for the servers to come back out with cake. The served one trays worth of cake and then went back into the kitchen. We waited forever for the servers to come back with more cake. We actually went to check on them and it we were shocked to see that the servers and kitchen staff was eating our cake! Mind you the cake hadn't even been served to all of the guests! They finally came back out with cake 15 minutes later, but told a guest at the last table that they ran out of cake! Another server told the guest that she thought there was another piece in the back, but the other server standing there said, no it's gone. A piece magically appeared a few minutes later! I personally made this cake and it should have fed 60 people if cut properly, mind you we had 2 sugar free cakes too! Some people were served slivers of cake because they were running out and because the staff obviously ate part of the cake. I was and still am furious. I spent hours making this cake for the guests, not the employees of Mama Mias! I kindly asked for the pictures from the cake back, as well as the plastic board the cake was made on. The servers gave me the items, but you could tell that I was bothering them. After receiving the board back one server said to another that's what you get for two twenty-year-olds, speaking of my sister and I. I couldn't believe my ears! The servers were not friendly nor professional at all. They cleared tables while people were still sitting there, clearly trying to get rid of everyone, drink glasses included! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone at all. I am disgusted at what happened during our dining experience.”
