• Low price.
• Low-end food, dismal decor, poor value.

“This place is truly dismal. The decor is horrid, very leftover from perhaps the 60s or at best the 70s. Many things are in disrepair such as large hole in the wall around the thermostat, and most closely to visitors the seats have lost all springs and you sink way down in the benches. Things were dirty and unkempt; carpets need cleaning. The food was equally dismal. It has way too large a menu for a small restaurant, which means that nearly everything is pre-made or frozen. A special dinner of steak and shrimp was a horrible piece of cheap sirloin, largely flavorless and mostly gristle, and cheap low-end deep fried shrimp which was mostly breading and very little shrimp. A Caesar dinner salad was really not a Caesar salad at all and was only mildly interesting because it was more of Greek salad (no creamy Caesar dressing, that's for sure). We will never go back there and suggest you look elsewhere. Perkins would be a step up from this joint.”

“I have been going to Happy Garden for years. I like I can count on the quality of food & the great service. Mainly I take out, it is simple, quick, and they have all my favorite dishes, love the pork fried rice and sesame chicken. I am never disappointed. Praise to Happy Garden!”
