- Somewhat responsive.
- Lousy crab cakes.
“Crab cakes described as jumbo lump with just enough breading to hold it together. I asked the waiter if this was true. He said yes. It wasn't; there was a lot of stringy filler meat. I sent it back. They brought out another one for my inspection. It looked better, but again turned out to be only 1/4 lump, and really too salty to taste any crab. Not worth $20. After paying, I told the manager (after waiting a bit), and he said he'd look into it, but claimed that they usually got good reviews for those.”

- Watching the boats.
- Crab cakes were totally different then the past 20 years.
“We have eaten at Captain's Galley for over 20 years. Last week we were in Ocean City and ate there 4 times. Never again. We could not wait to eat the crab cakes. Well they were not the usual CG Crab cakes. There were big chunks of some kind of meat in them but it did not have the texture or taste of crab cakes. The tartar sauce is terrible. Kraft. The salad bar was a huge disappointment, salad brown and lumpy and the pasta salad tasted horrible. They raised their prices but sure not their quality. We will stay on the other side of the bay the next time we are in OC and find some other restaurants that are better.”

Alaska Stand

- The food.
- Should open one hour earlier.
“The Alaska Stand is our favorite spot to stop for breakfast after our morning bike ride. The eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, and home fries were very good. The servings were enough to eat and you certainly get your money worth. The wait staff is also very friendly in the morning! I only wish the stand would open an hour earlier. Thank-you Alaska Stand for many great memories in the past, and here's to many more in the future!”

- Crab cakes.
- The service can be a little lacking in attentiveness.
“Without a doubt some of the very best crab cakes I have ever eaten and I have tried them everywhere. The restaurant is just a restaurant as far as decor goes, although it takes on a different atmosphere after dark with the reflection of the lights from the marina in the water. The service is satisfactory to good but not excellent. The reality is I go for the crab cakes. And although the lobster tail costs an arm and a leg, (really) it was the biggest most succulent lobster tail I have ever had or ever hope to have. That said, I eat the crab cakes 95 % of the time.”
