• The real diner atmosphere, the cakes, and the service.
• Iced tea.

“Franks is a great diner. The food is above average for diner food and particularly good are the salads, the ribs, the blackened catfish and the Mac and cheese. They have about a dozen cakes all baked on site and everyone is good. For a treat from time to time they also have a carrot cake to die for and the best bread pudding I have had since leaving my blue collar home town of Buffalo.”

• Food was perfectly prepared and reasonably priced.
• No negatives.

“Avanti Restaurant offers fine Italian cuisine at very reasonable prices. Appetizers range from $3 to $10. Main courses ranged from $9 to $22. They have a children's menu with meals for under $5. We started with the creamy crab dip, which was perfectly seasoned, loaded with lump crab meat, and served with fresh toasted bread for dipping (about $10). My daughter had the lasagna which was stacked high with layers of meat and cheese for around $9. My husband had the Scallops Fra Dilovo (about $15). The scallops were tender and moist and served with a marinara sauce, peppers and onions. I enjoyed the Bryan Shells, named after the executive chef. The giant shells were stuffed with meat, spinach, provolone, and paresean cheese and topped with a vodka tomato sauce (about $12). We'd definitely come back again.”

• It is the best place I¿ve ever been.
• The floors are dirty.

“It is good. I like it and want to come back to Maryland everyday to eat only burgers. But I might get sick if I don't eat it at least once a week or maybe even die. I want to come and live here and work here for all eternity.”
