“The place reminded me of the small sandwich shops in my country. Food was excellent this thing they call a steak sub was unbelievable. I would highly recommend this authentic Italian establishment.”

“Dolly's has been around for years! The subs are delicious -- especially the cheese steak! I live in Florida. Food is cooked before your eyes while you wait. The fries are fresh cut and all of her soups and sauces are homemade. No better place to eat in the area. Only downfall is that it is carry-out - no seating available. Hands down the best food around -- including in Florida!”

“My wife and I visited this restaurant approximately 4 years ago. We never returned and couldn't quite remember why. We returned today and our memory was refreshed. I had the Italian Hoagie and my wife had the steak sub. The roll for both subs were fresh and good. That was the end of what was good. My Italian Hoagie wasn't very good. There was too much lettuce, salt, oil and oregano. The entire taste was terrible. I really do appreciate a good Italian sub. They do not make a good Italian sub. The steak sub was ordered with onions and tomatoes. The sub arrived with two very slender slices of tomatoes on the entire sub. The meat had a very unusual taste to it. It tasted as though the meat was not fresh. It too was over seasoned with salt. Once again, not very good. There was an extensive menu offering a good variety. When we arrived, there was a brief waiting period before we were seated. It was a very popular place. The other items may be better than what we had but we won't ever know. I still have a bad after taste from lunch. I would not recommend this restaurant but what tasted bad to me might be good for you. The service was good. No complaints there as was the time it took for the food to arrive at the table.”

“Every time I am in Cumberland, I go to Lindy's to eat. The place is like an old style family restaurant from the 50's-60's. Food is excellent. To get such great food at such reasonable prices is amazing in this day and age. Apple dumplings, Bumble berry pie, Shrimp basket, Clam strips and daily specials are all fantastic. This place is a throwback in time. Friendly wait staff, great food and amazing prices. Try it, you'll love it.”
