• Nothing.
• The whole place.

“The service is a disgrace and the cleanliness has a lot to be desired. It took 15 minutes to get a server and then another 20 minutes for them to tell us our wine was on the way. We picked up and left, went to Neptunes and had a great meal.”

• Ants were crawling on the table.

“I was really disappointed in my meal, the service and the overall restaurant at my recent visit on Sunday, August 17th. There were ants crawling on the table, the food was just ok, overpriced and the service was slow. Having owned property in the area and still pay a visit as often as I can, I will have to say that in the future, I will eat someplace else.”

• The busboy who finally gave us water that was not mixed with Sprite was wonderful!
• Service, value for the price.

“The service was less than good. Based on the menu, prices and location, one would expect a smooth dining experience. I also expected more flair from the food for those prices. Take my word for it I am not a grumpy diner and I had worked many years in the restaurant business. It takes a lot for me to say something bad about service and food.”

• Found a nice wine pairing for seafood on a limited wine list.
• Service left us hanging too long.

“My wife and I traveled to Chesapeake Beach to enjoy the company of good food, wine and friends this evening. Our reservation at the Rod N Reel had us seated quickly and we examined the menu while we waited for our waitress. After a lengthy wait we finally placed a drink order and then proceeded to wait again. Unfortunately, our wait time was considerably longer than acceptable for every segment of our dining experience. Our soups and salads were tasty but our entrees were found to be lacking in care of preparation and presentation. Scallops served over cooked and cold from seating out too long led us to the summation of our experience - Service needs help.”

• I liked the fresh taste of the seafood and the wonderful service.
• Nothing negative.

“The first time that I went to rod and reel was to go to the casino. I had no idea that the restaurant was as magnificent as it was. Now when I go to rod and reel I go on an empty stomach so that I have room to eat. The food tastes so fresh and you get your moneys worth for sure. I am planning on taking 15 people there for the mothers day brunch!”
