• Good location, pizza and salads.
• The rest of the menu not changing with the times under achieving.

“Silas is a family oriented place. Its strong dishes are its pizza both square and round a donna fillipo reflects the old Italian pizza of Brooklyn. Their Anti Pasto & Greek salads are the best around. As are the breadsticks the ribs are ok tender but not tasty Their pasta sauce is ok; dont bother with the Alfredo; its horrid as is the veal. There is no grill so steaks are out (a shame) nor are there any sautee dishes that have come to be the norm in Italian dining. The ministroni soup tastes like cambells with tomato sauce mixed in it. The bartender is friendly and personable as are some of the wait staff .If you want true Italian cusine go elsewhere, if you want pizza and a beer your all set, their only signiiture item is Cheese bread which is very good.”

• Quirky atmosphere, friendly wait staff, especially Boris!
• Nothing negative to say.

• Pizza.
• Horrible wait staff.

“The service is absolutely horrible! My family will never go back there! We drove all the way from Brighton because we loved the pizza but the horrible waitress ruined everything. She should be fired!”

• The pizza is usually great.
• The wait staff is horrible.

“I used to love Silas but the last time we went there it was horrible, about a week ago. I went with my family and about 20 other people. I made reservations since we had a big party so they could accommodate us. When we arrived the waitress seemed very mad to have to wait on such a large party. She was very rude! You would think they would be happy to have 20 + people. Then when they brought the food out they spilled marinara sauce all over me and my dad. I know accidents happen but they didnt seem to care. Then they started vacuuming before we were even done with our dinner and it wasnt even closing time. The waitress there should be fired and never again work in customer service.”
