- Everyone is warm and welcoming to anyone who walks in the door.
- Nothing.
“I have loved Knight's since before I could walk. I grew up in this restaurant and even though I moved away, the delicious smells still waver to my nose, and I always seem to come back. A trip to Ann Arbor can not be completed without a visit to Knights. With friendly staff, management, and the best bread I have ever tasted, Knights will always be an important asset to Ann Arbor.”

Zrazy Jims Blimpee Burger

from Ann Arbor
Overall Rating: 1
Food:[2] •
Service:[1] •
Atmosphere:[1]
- Cold bottled pop, warm burger.
- Cold fried food, grill cook who yells at customers & threatens to assault.
“I have heard about this restaurant for their burgers for 25+ years. We planned our order ahead of time. We wrote the order down. The cook yelled at us for doing this. She yelled at customers for many things. She threatened assault on co-workers. She had numerous outbursts during our 30 minute experience. Food quality was substandard. Onion rings, mixed vegetables were cold and burgers were warm. Worst AA dining experience in the 5 yrs of eating out weekly.”

Banfields Bar & Grill

Overall Rating: 7

Atmosphere:[7]
- Bar food, strong drinks.
- Service a tad slow.
“Went on a whim with friends last Saturday night. Some in our group were hesitant. It is a typical "dive" sports bar with strong drinks and good bar food (jalapeno poppers and fried mushrooms). We all had a great time, the waitress was running around like crazy- I think there were two- so it took awhile to get drinks. There is a game room with the classics, a nice little fireplace in the center, big screen TV's with various sports/news on. This isn't a "pretty" place but when we left we all agreed we would go back. A good week night "let's go get a drink" place.”

Creekside Grill & Bar

from Brighton, Mi
Overall Rating: 5
Food:[5] •
Service:[7] •
Atmosphere:[5]
- Big windows, good bread rolls.
- Dry chicken and too many bugs flying around.
“Not good. We asked for non-smoking and were seated in a corner table closest to the bar so smoke was everywhere, not to mention our view was of a blank wall. The chicken, although a large portion, was so dry I couldn't eat it. Fish & chips meal was good. Stay away from chicken and beans. And the bugs! Perhaps we picked a bad night but the nats swarming our food was nauseating. During my entire meal, I swung my arm over my food swatting nats and flies.”

- Everything is top notch from beginning to end.
- The specials are great, and I wish they would be added to the permanent menu.
“I've lived in Ann Arbor for 30 years and only discovered this restaurant a few years back. I think it is one of the best kept secrets in town. The food is excellent and the servers, owners, musicians, and cooks are all charming and professional. This restaurant is well known as the best place to get real European pastries, but not everyone knows that the meals are excellent. I once ran into the food critic for Southern Living Magazine there. She was doing an article on restaurants in Ann Arbor and had been told by 3 independent sources from different parts of the country, that she should try Amadeus. It is one of the best restaurants and is overlooked or missed by most tourists.”
