- Food poisoning and no apology or compassion.
“Stay away from the Lobster Clam Bake. 4 hours after ordering and eating that selection, I was violently sick due to food poisoning. The manager assured me that the owner would call me that night when he arrived at the restaurant. After repeated phone calls I was again told the manager would call me. After 10pm I attempted to call again and no answer. The food was not the only thing that night about this restaurant the service by the owner himself was horrible. I would not go back to this restaurant if the meal was free the owner himself didn't have the self respect to call me and at least apologize. Go to this restaurant if you want to get sick and waste your money stay away if you are looking for a good meal.”

- Nice location.
- Bad service; not a nice owner.
“Nice location! Nice view! Owners attitude is terrible. He is not nice to personnel and to customers. Have to wait long time for food. I hade the impression, that the owner and the personnel does not like customers, what comes to this restaurant seldom. They treat nicely customers, what are regulars there. We are good tippers. Always leave more than 20%. But the last time at red rock we left only $10 dollars tips (even this amount was too much for the service and attitude what we got). We spent $150 this evening. Never will go there again. If you want to pay for bad service, bad attitude and humiliation (like you are second class citizen, because you speak with an accent and are not a regular customer) then this place is for you.”

- Atmosphere.
- Pricey, everything takes too long, etc.
“I have been to the Red Rock on more than one occasion. My first experience in March was pleasant but I will not return after my second visit. I feel it is important to tell you what you may not know. What you may not been told. 1) It is often crowded and noisy making it hard to talk with others. 2) There is no parking. 3) On my second visit the restaurant ran out of bread. Not a big deal if our entrees didn't take so long. I think we waited about 40 minutes. Then our deserts took another 20 minutes. I have heard since that this happens frequently. 4) The only have one men's room and a lady's room with 2 stalls. From what I have heard from others the ladies room overflows all the time leaving only 1 stall. 5) Servers are always pleasant, but I observe them to be too busy and not giving great service for the prices. 6) The view isn't that great. You can see water but faces the edge by the street. 7) I have also observed the owner behaving in such a way that proves he is unworthy of customer patronage. He is unprofessional and arrogant. You are better of trying Antonia's at the Beach in Revere. They have great food, parking, a beautiful atmosphere and a better view of the ocean. Plus, an owner that deserves your hard earned dollars.”

- Location, location, location.
- Owner's attitude /service is only fair--mess ups on orders frequently.
“very pricey....can get away with it because of location and convenience for locals...has become the swanky "in" place to be for an upscale feel without going into the city....lighter food is great at the bar. Better than big meals at the tables and the bar seems to be the area where the patrons want to be”
