• Food came out quick and hot and was delicious.
• The noisy wandering children at the table next to us.

“This restaurant is so quaint and homely, and yet able to accommodate many guests. I have tried almost the whole menu and haven't had a bad meal yet! The wait staff is attentive and friendly, and gets to know you on a first-name basis which the kids love because they can request who to sit with. The gardens outside are lovely to sit in while waiting for a table on Sundays and give the kids room to run around! This is hands-down my favorite restaurant..”

• The pancakes are awesome.
• The bathrooms are old, and my daughter, age 10, thought not so clean.

“I use to dine there regularly during the 1980's. The food was excellent then as it is now. My recent visit to MA. I made it a point to have a meal there. It has not changed, old time diner atmosphere, good food, excellent pie assortment, and is still the same friendly family owned and operated restaurant that I knew in the past. If you visit the north shore of MA, make it a point to have a meal at this real old time "diner". You will not regret it. Good food, large portions, good price.”

• Food, service, price and nostalgic atmosphere
• The old style tabletop jukebox was not operating when I visited.

“The Agawam diner was my first experience in a US diner and what an experience. OK, so it's just a diner but the food was very good, inexpensive and there was plenty of it. The service was excellent, even in the busy breakfast period the staff were friendly, attentive and thorough. Definitely worth a visit !”
