• Great food.
• Expensive.

“Chanticleer is a beautiful restaurant; it has wonderful food the staff is very friendly. If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy with family and friends this is the place to go especially for lunch to sit out in their wonderful garden.”

• Nothing sorry to say all that glitters is not gold.
• Food, too dimly lit it borders on unsafe.

“The room is so dimly lit that we needed a seeing eye dog. The portions are teeny weenie especially the lobster bit. The specialty dessert was dreadful. Our friends had the same experience several days later. We all much preferred Straight Wharf. The buzz is the restaurant may be coming to Boston. We will pass. Merci!”

• Fresh food and a great value.
• Messy but fun!

“Best burritos in the world! I don't know what they do to them but they are good! I visit Nantucket one weekend a year and eat at Tacos every day. It used to be a walk up stand which was very cool but now they are in an actual restaurant with seats and bathrooms and stuff. Nothing better than tacos after a night of drinking at the tavern.”

• Before 2005 BPG was a decent place to get a steak.
• OVER 1 HOUR wait for food, before leaving to get a pizza

“Worst dining experience of my life. Once one of my favorite places on the island to get a steak, the 2005 season sank the establishment for all time into the abyss of horror. Incident 1: July 5 at a peak period the staff made several errors in our 4 person tables order, we waited 45 minutes for the food (steak/seafood) which was cold upon presentation. The "manager" (I use the term in quotes) a blonde woman with a mean disposition was unapologetic and rude.

Since I liked the food (and service in years past) we returned and were to pay the ultimate price.

Incident 2: 9/24 Saturday night, relatively quiet we sat at 9.10pm, ordered app and entree at 9.20pm appetizers came in a timely fashion after some confusion about who was to be our waiter. 10.25pm No food, no drinks, no service. We left without getting our food.

Worst service in history of food service industry. Place is a travesty.”
