- Crab cakes.
- Too busy sometimes?
“My girlfriend and I live in Melrose, and since we first ate at Turners we have probably gone back at least once a month. The food is always good, the service is good, and the atmosphere is nice and classy enough without being stuffy. We have eaten and like a good number of menu options; Lobster roll, clam chowder, lobster bisque (with added lobster meat!), stuffed clams, crab rangoon dip, crab cakes, stuffed shrimp etc. All were very good, especially the crab cakes which in my opinion are the best I have had! I often order the surf and turf (with either the crab cakes or the lobster pie without the crumbs) and the only complaint I could make is that the fillet is sometimes a bit overcooked (ordered med rare). As far as service is concerned, it is generally good to very good though when it gets busy the staff can be a bit inattentive but not to the point where you feel ignored (I would rather be left alone than coddled all night by a server who asks how everything is three times during the appetizers).”

- Not much.
- Food is not worth the price/ it was horrible!
“I went to turners on Tuesday. Oct.30th, for the first time. I got the "fisherman's platter" half way through my meal I discovered my French fries were not cooked through. I stopped eating, as nothing seemed to taste quite right. I should have know this was a sign, as I was sick as a dog from 1am that evening until 7pm the next day, missing a day of work, to find I had food poisoning from under cooked seafood. My partner had seafood with pasta; it has muscles to which the she found numerous pieces of shells broken mixed in her food. The waitress we had was nice .when we actually saw her, she pretty much ignored us most of the time we were there, and when she did ask if everything was ok, I said "it was ok I guess. But. And before I could finish my sentence she smiled and walked away. We even had to ask for a separate plate for the discarded shells! I will never ever go there again, and I will tell everyone I know never to go there, go across the street to sterns instead!”
