• Waitress was helpful and pleasant, very likable.
• Loud, overpriced, food was not good and cooked correctly.

“After hearing wonderful reviews we decided to try. Upon being seated in the dining room we realized that the recent renovations didn't seem to be done or at least some of them were skipped, the ceiling was leaking from the rain and was stained, the smell of mold was evident. The waitress explained that due to the recent heavy rain they were having problems with leaks in the roof. She was very helpful and pleasant in offering suggestions on the food. We ordered our drinks which were delivered very quickly along with warm bread and olives. Our food was very undercooked, steak was rare at best and was ordered med. She quickly brought the steak back to have cooked more. The bar crowd was loud and yelling and could be heard in the dining room. Waitress offered to shut the door which helped a little. After dinner we decided to go see what all the noise was coming from the bar. It was apparently just the neighborhood drunks as the bartender stated. We decided to have a drink and check out the crowd, bad idea. We left shortly after before finishing our drinks, the drunks were too loud and drunk some couldn't walk let alone talk and the bartender could not stop complaining about how much she could not stand the waitress that was working. We could not understand as the waitress seemed very pleasant and upbeat even talking about how excited she was about her upcoming wedding. Overall,the food was not that great but pricey and the crowd of locals so drunk we were beginning to wonder if the bartender had been drinking since she was as loud as the local drunks. At the end of our visit we once again thanked the waitress for a job well done under the circumstances and advised her to get a better job were she would be appreciated. She was truly the gem in this disastrous adventure.”

• The food is incredible.
• Service can be a little slow (food comes out fast though).

“The food is great. They have a large variety to choose from and large portion sizes (at very reasonable prices). The pulled pork nachos are my favorite! In the summer you can sit on the deck and enjoy the lake and in the winter they have ice fishing. A+.”

• Service, cold food, manager would not address us.

“After walking through the completely empty dining room, through the bar where 2 older men were seated, and out onto the empty deck, we thought we were in for a quiet, enjoyable lunch. Boy we were wrong! We each ordered a beer which came pretty quick. We then ordered 2 cheese burgers both med. Well, we waited quite a long time before our waitress finally came back and noticed our empty beers. We ordered 2 more which the bartender delivered. Still not another soul in sight. The 2 at the bar had since left. Our burgers finally arrived, ice cold! Our waitress had allready left so we had to wait for her to come back. How could our burgers be cold, The cheese not even melted. She finally returned and I stated that the burgers were cold and we didn't have time to wait for 2 more. She said she was getting the manager but unfortunately the manager would not come out. The waitress told us the manager was sorry. We paid for our 4 beers and left. I don't know if this is the norm at this restaurant but it's a shame since they have such a great view.”

• Location and views.
• Slow service.

“The food is good, service is slow. If you want to enjoy the water views and sit out on the deck and take your time it's great. If you are in a rush, this is not the place to go. Good food, good views. Sometimes they have local bands in the evening or during the summer on the deck during the day. Fun place.”

• Good food, great views, intimate setting.
• Bar stools too high.

“Lake Lash away Inn is a sweet family run business, Awesome views of the lake from every window, intimate dining and function facility for weddings, private parties, meetings. Food is home style cooking. Keno and Lotto at the bar.”
