- Good food and family atmosphere.
- Very slow service for groups of 10 or more.
“Food is average/good for this type restaurant. Have been to this one several times both with large groups as well as just a couple. I refuse to ever go there again as a large group as a 1 hour lunch turns into a 2.5 hour lunch because they take so long to get orders out and splitting up checks etc. Dining as a couple everything took as long as it was supposed to. Servers are friendly, just slow.”

- The service and food were fine but the staff went to the extreme in saving the money for us.
- Nothing.

- I liked the view.
- The owners are awful people and have no ethics.
“My experience with Jim's was after my daughter's wedding. She had reserved a room at Jim's for a party of 40 about 30 days before the wedding. The wedding party arrived over a space of about 45 minutes. We were in a comfortable room with a view of the river and everyone was talking and basically enjoying the evening. When the full party arrived, there were only two waitresses for the group. They took our orders and went away. We had to go get our own drinks and when we requested more service, we were told we were lucky to get what we were getting (none). When the food came out, the waitresses had no idea who had ordered what, so they just shouted out what they were holding in their hand. With 40 people in a room talking, it was hard to hear the waitress and they got angry about no one jumping up to claim their food. It was not real pretty. The groom did not get his order and when told, they ordered his food. His food arrived as everyone was getting ready to leave. When the checks came, the owner had added a 20 percent gratuity even though the menu plainly said the gratuity was 15 percent. Several people complained about the change and there ensued a shouting match. I have never experienced a restaurant with such poor service and awful customer appreciation. I have traveled the world several times and ate in some real dives, but this was the worst when it comes to working with the customer. I have to say the food was fair, the service was awful, and the location is quite nice. The inside could be fixed up a bit and the restaurant atmosphere could be a crowd pleaser.”
