  • The food was great!

“I ate at the Pig Stand in 1990. I had the backbone stew. It is one of those meals that years later still lingers on the palate if you think hard enough about it. Magnificent!”

  • Pork barbecue.
  • I hope they have a sign by now.

“My wife and I stopped for lunch in March 2008. It was a bit difficult to find, since the restaurant was being renovated and there was no sign outside. The new restaurant was nice looking and much different from what we had anticipated from our guide book. At any rate, we were her for the food and not the decor. We only had a barbecued pork sandwich, but it was spectacular! It consisted of juicy slices of pork tenderloin that with a rich smoky flavor that was incredible. The sauce was simple but perfect. Our waitress was extremely enthusiastic and made us want to return for all the other interesting items on the menu. We shall return!”
