• Big party room.
• Bad food, bad decor, service, extremely dim lighting.

“I paid $15 for overcooked, under- flavored food! I was with a large group and my order got switched with someone else's from my party. The waiter adjusted the bills. The pasta seemed to have been boiling all year long. Chef Boyardee's pasta is firmer! The sauce tasted like they opened a jar, heated it, added canned veggies, then poured it over the very overdone pasta! There was no seasoning in it whatsoever. This is supposed to be an Italian restaurant, but all of the waiters are Mexican. The decor looks like it would be a real version of The Regal Beagal, the bar on Three's Company. The plates were poorly picked up at the dollar store and the silverware must have been stolen from a school cafeteria! Save your money and taste buds and go to a chain like Johnny Carino's, Olive Garden.”

• The pizza is both tasty and healthy. Fun atmosphere.
• The games are old and don't always work.

“BJ's offers a laid back atmosphere with traditional and more creative pizzas that tantalize the taste buds. My favorite is the chicken ranch. There are large TV's and a few arcade games for the kids. The staff is always great and food is prepared quickly. But the arcade games are very outdated and one of the 4 doesn't work. They really need to update that part of the restaurant. This is a popular spot in Lafayette for families and college students who have a craving for pizza that is both healthy and tasty.”

• Was not crowded, no waiting.
• Absolutely the worst wait staff you could imagine!

“This dining experience was a disaster! After being seated and eventually being brought water and bread by the busboy, that was the last server that even made eye contact with me. After requesting to speak to a waitress, she intentionally and carefully avoiding any eye contact for the next 30 minutes so we decided it would best for us to find service elsewhere. I calmly and quietly explained the issue to the hostess as we exited but I am fairly certain she was not concerned either. As far as service if concerned - this was one of the worst and most rude restaurants I have ever been to. I will never return!”

• No one got sick.
• Overall disappointment.

“A friend said that we had to try this sushi place, someone told her about it. So we did, I have to say I was disappointed. The atmosphere wasn't that great, and the food was just ok. The best part, not all of our sushi rolls came out at the same time, so when we asked our waitress about them she informed us the it would be a couple more minutes because the fish was frozen.”

• Sometimes the pizza is not as full of ingredients and other times.

“I have been going to Alesi's for over 30 years. My husband and I used to go on dates there. The food is great the atmosphere is very nice and the wait staff is wonderful. We always visit there when we are visiting family in Lafayette. We celebrate birthdays there all the time. Family tradition. I highly recommend it. Joan Broussard.”
