“My mom and I go to Atchison KS a couple of times a year and this is where we always eat! Always great food and scenery. Sometimes the service isn't the best, but that happens anywhere.”

• Food doesnt taste like complete crap.
• Liars and manipulators of the public good will through web posting.

“What a bunch of sub moronic idiots they are complete nincompoops if they had a brain they would take it out and play with it. One thing I can't stand is a bunch of idiots who get on the internet and make an entry on a web site like this touting the quality of their own restaurant.”

• Good food, good price, in a friendly environment.
• Some breakable gifts well-behaved children only!

“The Pumpernickel Cafe is a quaint little shop on Commercial Street just down from local shops. There is quite a variety of sandwich and salad items on the menu. The place is not large, but also has outdoor seating in the warmer months. They also have a selection of gifts and food stuffs available for purchase. The coffee was hot and excellent. There were only two choices for desserts but both looked fantastic and I didn't have room after my sandwich (I recommend The Pumper and the Reuben looked good, too!)! I look forward to going back again!”
