• Can't get there enough.

“Carlos O'Kelly's in Salina treats you like you are family. Fantastic food, good quality service, and a passion for what they do. We always drop in when traveling from Colorado. It's on our "To Do" list. Rick and his staff will deliver you a great time!”

• I love everything about Bayards Café.
• Nothing.

• Food was good.
• People are not friendly. They love Jesus, just not people.

“While traveling through Kansas from Oregon to Virginia we stopped in Salina at a truck stop restaurant that looked kind of cute. The food was excellent, but our waitress was terrible. I asked her what their beer list looked like. She informed me that Kansas was a dry state. After going into shock from this statement we ordered our food. When she brought our food she didnt make eye contact or say a word and just threw our plates in front of us. After eating we waited about 15 minutes for a bill and finally walked up to the register counter to tell them we have been sitting around for our bill and want to leave. But the lady couldnt stop to help a customer; she had to finish sweeping her area. Worst service I ever had. If you can help it, dont drive west to east through Kansas.”

• 24 hour convenience, good home cooked food, variety of menu, pie.
• Not the best upkeep on the building or grounds, bathrooms could be cleaner.

“Being from a small town, I was looking for something that was "homey" and friendly and Bayard¿s fit the bill. They had so many different kinds of pie I couldn't decide which kind to have! I was traveling and found it convenient with 24 hour availability. Their servers were older but very capable and friendly. I will definitely go back!”
