“My family and I have been at this cafe in our numerous trips to Bali and it is always being a great place to eat. However, our last trip was in 2002. We have never had a problem with the food as far as the digestive system goes and their service has been wonderful. We have stayed at the Casa Luna bungalows around the block from the cafe and the rooms and service were fantastic.”

  • Comfortable atmosphere.
  • More expensive.

“I loved this place. As I'd pass through Ubud I'd come to three monkeys often. During the late afternoon if the rice fields are abundant the varieties of bird life were amazing. The food was always good and the service was excellent. It was easy to find a comfortable spot in this restaurant whether it be upstairs looking across the fields & inside waterfall or down by the koi pond. Truly spectacular.”

  • Cheap, Easy, Free food, baru!
  • Weird cooking oil.

“HEH. I haven't eaten at this McDonald's since May 2001 but when I did it was awesome. The food tastes a bit weird since I had Canadian and Japanese McDonald's before I came to Bali. I don't know if they still do this, but when I was there they had timers, so when you order food, if they do not give it to you before the timer is done, you get a free small drink and fries. I cannot tell you how many times I got this free. If you order a Chicken they never get it to you before the timer is done. This seemed to be the same with mcflurry's. The dessert timer was smaller. Otherwise the restaurant is always clean, and everything tasted alright. I don't know what kind of oil they cook everything in but it is not as good as what they use elsewhere in the world.”
