Mrs Lady's Mexican Food
Oct 2, 2008 by Caroline from Spencer
Overall Rating: 7 User Rating Score: 7
Food:[9] • Service:[9] • Atmosphere:[5]

  • The food.
  • The ambience - very plain.

“We liked it a lot. We did both get sick thereafter, though, but there was a little thing with the jalapenos possibly being tainted at all restaurants, so I can't necessarily say it was this restaurant's fault. The food was huge. I do wish there were chips, though, as an appetizer.”

Mrs Lady's Mexican Food
Oct 11, 2007 by Alice from Mtn Lake, MN
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10
Food:[10] • Service:[10] • Atmosphere:[2]

  • Always lots of good food and ingredients.
  • Chips and salsa would be nice to make the wait for the main food go quickly.

“For over 20 years this is a place we look forward to eating at when we're in the area (several times a year). The Mini Insane Taco is a meal by itself. We like to sprinkle their cinnamon/sugar mixture on the shell (a kind of "dessert") after we've eaten the taco "fixings" out of it. A popular place to eat. I think everything I've seen come out of their kitchen looks like more then an average person would usually eat and the "presentation" of the food is excellent.”

Food:[1] • Service:[5] • Atmosphere:[4]

“Didn't eat much, didn't like the chicken chimichnga, chunky, dry, stringy chicken. Not enough food for $9. Would like some fried rice on the side, at least.”

Mrs Lady's Mexican Food
Jun 14, 2007 by nat from paullina, ia
Overall Rating: 1 User Rating Score: 1
Food:[1] • Service:[7] • Atmosphere:[5]

“We thought we would get chips & salsa before our meal. Couldn't find the chimichanga shell. The chicken was in big chunks, kind of stringy, & dry. We would like some fried rice on the side for $9 a plate. I had the chix & broccoli ench. I had like some lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes something on the side. My plate was drowning in greasy cheese.”
