- Service, flavor, great selection of drink and menu.
- Loud.
“Our service was great, our food was good, and the atmosphere was all right. Good luck finding a parking spot on a Friday or Saturday night, but once you do, it's worth the wait! First entering the restaurant, it tended to be a little crowded, but we were sat right away. Our server was a younger girl very polite and was very good with refilling drinks without asking, bringing napkins right away, etc. (Typically things we have to ask for when we go out to dinner). We got drinks right away. They serve Millstream which my husband liked a lot. Our food came out in good time; my pulled pork was very good! My husband's rib eye came out a little more on the rare side than he prefers, but their rib is to die for. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience, and will most definitely return to Claxon's!”

“I work at Culvers Altoona; I think it¿s a great place to Eat for traveling. They have the best Butter burgers ever and Custard!! I would try it if you haven't Lexis. ”

- Best smoked meat, selection of beer.
- Very loud, food came cold.
“Very modern building that surprises you for not being the cliche rustic, tired old "scattered antique" look of Famous Daves, Joe is Crab Shack, and Friday is. The bar has a huge selection of import and domestic bottles, Pinot Noir was on the wine list - something I do not find often enough in this area. It was a full house and normal conversation is hard without yelling. Our meat came out cold (due to cold plates?) and the waitress resolved in immediately and even gave us half off our bill. Overall really good experience.”
