“My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant because of all the good reviews but overall it was extremely disappointing. Although the ambiance is fairly nice, the food is, at best, mediocre. My boyfriend grew up in India, and while he understands that Indian restaurants in the U.S. are in general, mediocre, he was surprised that a restaurant like this could have been given such good reviews. And while, I am not Indian, I have eaten enough Indian food to tell when restaurants are trying their best to serve as authentic food as possible. The hype for this restaurant is uncalled for. If you want really good Indian food, I suggest you make the trek up to Devon St. in Chicago. The chances of finding a restaurant that is better (and in many cases, cheaper) is pretty good.”

“If you enjoy sitting in a hand-painted chair and looking at hundreds of paintings done by local artists on the walls while enjoying a pricey meal or coffee drink, this is the place for you. The buzz cafe has a very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The food and drinks taste great, but they are a bit overpriced. Portions tend to be conservative. Luckily the hummus is to die for! Try it out at least once. ”

“I highly recommend this restaurant. It was the best food I have eaten in a long time. I can't say enough about my experience there and I would recommend that every one try this place. You will be thoroughly satisfied.”

“Magnificent. The owner comes to every table to let them know of the specials that evening, usually carrying a plate of each for visual reference. Often he'll repeat this for deserts which are all mouth watering. The owners are fabulous and fun. The atmosphere is cozy and festive. The food is so FABULOUS that a dear friend of mine who does not like or eat Mexican food raves about this restaurant and keeps bringing new people to try it out. Awesome food, marvelous service and delightful atmosphere.”
