“Wildfire is a great restaurant with a ton of atmosphere and awesome food. We went there with two friends and had a great dining experience. It is more expensive than a Fridays or chilies, but you get what you pay for. It is not family friendly, but definitely a romantic place to dine. I would recommend it to anyone that asks for a special occasion dining restaurant. The prime rib is to die for! As for the previous writer, it is not a place for children. Try it on a day that is not a major holiday, since most restaurants have a skeleton staff on those days.”

“Servers are terrible, and the cooks can't read meal tickets. Not a good experience, especially for how much it cost.”

- The energetic atmosphere.
- The snotty hostess and inflexibility of staff.
“We've been disappointed twice now. First was last Christmas eve. We asked for a great table with atmosphere for the special occasion. When we showed up, they took one look at our kids (11 and 16) and tried to put us in the back room. It took an act of congress to get past the snotty greeter and ask a manager to seat us at one of the four empty tables for 4 in the main dining room which were evidently being held for more important people. All this negativity definitely affected the dining experience. My sister and son tried it again on Easter, and I guess the food was a disappointment. We won't be back.”

- Food, service and décor.
- Not one thing!
“It was a "couple's night out for my brother, his wife, sister, her husband and me and my husband. My sister and brother in-law took us out to mon ami Gabi to celebrate all of our birthdays. To say it was 'fabulous" would be an understatement! We had 7pm reservations and were quickly shown to our table. The waiter and wait staff were friendly and quite attentive. The waiter gave us suggestions on what to eat since it was our first time there. We had both cold and hot appetizers-great! We tried the French onion soup and the salad with pears and bleu cheese-to die for! I had a fish called "fluke" which was like eating a little bit of heaven! Then we had desserts. Unbelievable! The bananas foster will never be forgotten! The entire meal was excellent, waiter - wonderful and the restaurant decor was quaint! This is a do not miss restaurant!”

- Service and food were excellent.
- The waitress brought the wrong wine; I didn't understand until checking the bill.
“I visited Oak Brook on Saturday, August 19, 2006. My colleague and I arrived at Houlihan's at 7:20 with barely 40 minutes for dinner before we had to catch a shuttle back to our hotel. We told the host our dilemma and he confidently assured us they could get us in and out to catch the bus. He seated us and our server Angelica, greeted us almost immediately. We told her our story, she took our drink orders and handed us menus. Angelica was quick, attentive, and friendly throughout our visit. When we asked her to bring our check with our dinner so we could eat and leave quickly, she offered "to-go" boxes, and brought those with dinner too. I had grilled salmon, cooked perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy inside. My friend ordered fajitas, which came on a sizzling grill plate. The food was delicious, the prices reasonable, and the service outstanding. We did box half our dinner, but felt we were served as quickly as possible with the crowd in the restaurant at the time. I would love to eat there again when I had time to enjoy perusing the menu and comfortably appreciate my food.”
