• Loved The Fish!
• Needs to be bigger, to many customers when we go. Often times there is a big wait, but well worth it.

“I love eating at Turkey Lake Tavern. The fish is great. I don't even care for fish, but there is something that keeps drawling me back to this fish. I have been caught. I tell everyone how great it is even the salad is good. The tartor sauce is to die for. It is a must try it place.”

• Friendly people.
• The stairs in the entry.

“A group of us were camping nearby, seen the sign and thought we would go there and check out the lake and the tavern. We had the fish sandwich and it was piled high with fish. We sat at the bar in the tavern and had lunch and a good time, everyone was very friendly, from the man in the parking lot leaving that said the fish sandwich was the best to the bartender and other customers at the bar. It's definitely a spot we will return to.”

• The fish was fantastic, the service was great.
• Interior has small town/truck stop feel as you would expect.

“The tavern is in the small town of stroh Indiana - if you find yourself either driving through or visiting the nearby lakes (big turkey lake, or pretty lake or big long lake) this is a restaurant you definitely will want to eat at. I used to frequent truck stops with my parents when I was much younger because my parents knew the food was typically pretty darned good and a real value. This place has that sort of feel not that great of an atmosphere, but awesome food and good service. They have fantastic fish, good ribs, and the price is right. ”
