• Home made food the way you want it cooked!
• Bathrooms have been chilly once in a while.

“My husband, son and I have been eating at Clays' for 16 years. You will never find a better place for Home cooked food, friendly people and down home look than at Clays'!”

• Quaint and cozy.
• Music as a little "loud" when we first sat down at our booth.

“Loved the colorful interior and decor as this added to the experience and meal. The food was fresh and prepared in a timely manner. Our waitress was attentive and responded to our request of making the music playing just a little "softer." Interesting flavors and sauces served with our lunch plates & yes! The sweet potato fried coins were marvelous.”

• Cozy atmosphere while offering an outstanding food selection.
• Offer a desert menu.

“Quaint place with an outstanding menu, including grouper stuffed with crab, a cake platter that contained a crab cake and a salmon cake, outstanding burgers, steaks. Even a small Italian selection. Don't let the vinyl tablecloths and the diminutiveness of the building fool you. They also offer deck seating. Their coleslaw was outstanding, as were their dinner salads. Their mushroom soup was very thick and creamy more along the lines of gravy. It was chocked full of ingredients and had an outstanding flavor. The food our attentive waitress brought was excellent with the exception of the stuffed baked potato. That potato really needed another 15 minutes in the oven, as I don't appreciate a baked potato that is al dente. The reasons I gave it an overall rating of 8 was because if seemed to take forever to get our food - it was almost as if the chef could only handle one order at a time. The 2 tables ahead of us got their food (spaced about 5 minutes apart), we were next, and we got ours about 5 minutes after the second table had their food brought out. The waitress, who had been attentively filling our glasses the entire time, dropped our checks off without asking whether we desired desert, so I don't know whether they offer any or not. One final problem was that the air conditioning was so cold we were all freezing. Their dinner prices range from $9.00 for the Eggplant Parmesan, to about $17.00 for the cake platter, and everything in between.”

• Good food, nice atmosphere and clean.
• Slow waitresses, maybe I¿m too impatient!
