• The wait staff was friendly and the place was clean.
• You could buy better food at the supermarket frozen food section.

“Just went to the newly reopened Cheddar's in Bolingbrook on Saturday evening, and the reopening has not improved the quality of food! They were out of main entries listed on their menu and most of their food is frozen and microwaved to serve (pastas, rice, vegetables,etc.). Unless you a order a meat product (Steak, Chicken or burger)the meats are cooked on the premises, but everything else has been prepared by some under rated food manufacture and comes out of the freezer; or at least thats what it taste like, but then again Stoffers makes a better Alfredo then this place. The wait staff is very friendly, and they were on the ball. They constantly check in to see if you need anything. The tables were cleared within seconds of people leaving, so there weren't dirty tables waiting to be bused. The wait staff is more impressive then the food they are forced to serve by management.”

“Myself and my wife went there on 3/7/08 for a Friday night fish fry. It started off bad when the water tasted like untreated Lake Michigan water. Then, we were going to try the Cod (which came with fries, hush puppies and slaw) and the Lake Perch (which came with wild rice and some kind of veggie). We were going to each get one of the Cod and Perch, so we could try each one, but the restaurant would not let my wife substitute the wild rice and veggies for a baked potatoes, so we just got two Cod dinner's. We still had to pay extra for the baked potatoes. The fish was greasy, the potatoes was overcooked and shriveled like being under a heating lamp for an hour and the hush puppies tasted like dry burnt onions or something like that. The coleslaw was better except made my eyes water due to the overpowering red onions. When the waiter asked how dinner was, I told him it was not that good, and he waived the $2.00 charge for the baked potatoes, whoopee. So, for $36.76, and a $4.00 tip, it was a total waste of time and money. Culver's would probably have been better.”

• Poor food quality for your money.

“The food is way overpriced for the level of quality delivered. Branmors actually used to be a good restaurant, but it has slipped in the last couple of years. My wife and I gave it a couple more chances, but the quality never returned. Prices went up while the quality of the food declined.”

• Great food, friendly, and reasonably priced.
• No negatives.

“I've been going there for about 10 years or so. The ribs are terrific, especially because it's not a barbecue joint. Their appetizers are great. I love the quest and chips. They offer different combination platters, all reasonably priced. The quantities are large and some of the dishes are unique. I think the value is great. The staff is usually very friendly and efficient. I love going there. I wish there were more Cheddars in the Chicago land area. There is one in Rockford. Oh, how can I forget? The chicken tenders are awesome! They are probably their biggest seller. Homemade and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“The food was good, but pricey for what you get. The music was much too loud through out the meal. Drinks were served promptly, not being a wine drinker I did not appreciate the pushing of a wine product I had no desire for. Please stop doing this. My friend and I were derived promptly with a rather crabby uncaring server. My friend asked for a refill of her water, and she waited and waited. My tea was refilled promptly. The waitress gave the bill with no words. Came back asked if we needed anything else, and my friend joked with her about money no response from server. ”
